THE VAIL PASS KICKER

The Vail Pass Kicker Half Marathon is a spirited test of mind and body set against the backdrop of the stunning Rocky Mountains in the heart of Vail's Gore Range. The event starts off in the center of the Vail Village in the midst of all the GoPro Mountain Games action, and then carries runners along a winding path through 13.7 miles of gorgeous terrain, climbing 2,900 feet to the high tundra of Shrine mountain at the top of Vail Pass, passing a series of waterfalls which cascade down the east Vail chutes. A perfect altitude-conditioning exercise for those training for later marathons, the Vail Pass Kicker Half Marathon has become a fan favorite among GoPro Mountain Games participants.
