2011 MOUNTAIN CLICK PHOTO COMP WINNERS:
Congratulations to all who participated in the 2011 Teva
Mountain Games photo competition.
Some really amazing work from a group of very talented
photographers.
Our panel of
judges, consisting of three judges, had a difficult time
selecting one "winner" in each category.
Each judge ranked the images starting with their favorite (1)
lowest to highest assigning each image a value based on the number
of entries in each category (Performance, Vibe, Mountain Magic).
Places for each category were determined by talling the three
judges scores for each photo. The competitor with the lowest NET
total by all three judges in each category was awarded 1st place. A
perfect score would have been 3 for example.
There were clearly a lot of images of sporting moments.
A handful of talented photographers exhibited great insight into
capturing a decisive moment, or by catching a genuinely unique
vision. This was done by combining unexpected angles, dramatic
lighting, or an empathetic eye into the participant's
struggle.

2011 VIBE CATEGORY:
In the Vibe category there were so many soulful and genuine
images.
Brianne MacRunnel's image of the mud covered little girl had such a
fun, soft and approachable beauty to it. It really embodied the fun
side of the Mountain Games.

2011 PERFORMANCE CATEGORY:
In the Performance category David Harris' shot of the female
climber showed her struggle and was shot with a unique angle and
was so clean and perfectly lit. It really captured the beauty of an
athlete in the zone.

2011 MOUNTAIN MAGIC CATEGORY:
In the Mountain Magic category we had a lot of compilation images,
but Gustavo Moser's well crafted composition really showed the
depth of his imagery and was so well presented using some great
graphic talents.

2011 CLIK ELITE IMMORTAL:
New for 2011 we were proud to introduce the Clik Elite
Immortal. The photographer demonstrating the widest breadth of
photographic skills to receive a 1-year sponsorship with products

Daniel Milchlev was the best all-around shooter in 2011 fitting the
Clik Elite Immortal profile. His 2nd, 4th, and 3rd place photos
represented the highest scoring selection of three photos in the
2011 Mountain Click Photo Comp. His work over the past few years
has always been at the forefront of the competition and his 2011
photos were his best placing photos to date. His 2nd and 3rd place
